The problem
Long single-column forms feel sparse. You want First name and Last name on one row—without custom CSS or a page builder hack.
The solution
Sobi Forms supports multi-column layout in the builder: up to three fields per row, with draggable widths. On screens under 600px, columns stack automatically.
How to set it up
- Open your form in the builder.
- Drag a field beside another field (not above/below) to create a row.
- Drag the separator between columns to resize.
- Double-click a separator to equalize all columns in that row.
- Save the form.
What can share a row
Eligible: short text, email, phone, link, number, date, dropdown, radio, checkbox.
Always full width: title, paragraph, long text (textarea), file upload.
Tips
- Duplicating a field inside a row places the copy below the row, not inside it.
- Existing forms without layout data keep their single-column look until you edit them.
