Sobi 1.9 — Brevo & Mailchimp Connectors for WordPress Done Right

Sobi Forms 1.9 is out. On top of unlimited signed webhooks, you can now connect Brevo and Mailchimp directly inside the builder.

Connecting a CRM is simple, but doing it right is what actually matters.

The Consent Gate

Most contact forms have a required “Terms” checkbox and an optional “Newsletter” checkbox. Standard plugins often push every submitter to your marketing list regardless of what they selected.

In 1.9, you simply pick which checkbox grants consent (the Consent Gate).

  • Unchecked? Skipped. No API call made.
  • Checked? Contacts are synced cleanly.

Native Double Opt-In

You can also enforce Double Opt-In (DOI) right from the same Consent tab:

  • Brevo: Pick your confirmation email template directly from the dropdown and set a redirect URL.
  • Mailchimp: Sends contacts as pending so Mailchimp handles the confirmation email automatically.

Field Mapping, Tests, and Logs

Map custom contact fields on the fly, run a sample test directly in the builder, and inspect execution logs with one-click retries if an API ever stutters, exactly like webhooks.

Update to 1.9, attach Brevo or Mailchimp to your contact form, set your consent checkbox, and test it live.

Let me know what you think! Cheers,

Alexis
